Lion Cub Swim Test May 6, 2014

May 8, 2014 Leave a comment

Four African lion cubs born to Shera on March 2 had their swim reliability test this morning. All lion cubs at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo must take a swim test, carefully monitored by the animal care team, before going on exhibit. As part of the test they must prove that they can swim to land and pull themselves out of the water. All of the cubs passed. They are now one step closer to going on exhibit in a few weeks with their aunts and half siblings.

But Everything on the Internet is True

April 13, 2014 Leave a comment

Do not believe everything you see on the internet.  Here is a case of someone trying to say a snake was caught in North Carolina was 98 feet long and 700 lbs. It was not in North Carolina and it was not 98 feet long or 700 lbs.

There is so much BULLSHIT on the internet it is hard to tell what is true and what is not. If it is too incredible to actually be true, it is most likely not.

HMMM Where was the outrage?????

With all the outrage from the Left and the Gaystapo forcing Brendan Eich out of being the CEO of Mozilla, they did not seem to be as outraged when THE WON had the same opinion in 2008

Where was the outrage then???????

I am outraged that they were not outraged back in 2008

A great scientist named Roger Revelle had Al Gore in his class at Harvard and the Global Warming campaign was born. Revelle tried to calm things down years later, but Gore said Revelle was Senile and refused to debate. John Coleman documents the entire story and shows how our tax dollars are perpetuating the Global Warming alarmist campaign even though temperatures have not risen in years and years.

James Hetfield, the man himself, sat down with us at Guitar Center in San Francisco. In the small room, he shared stories about becoming a musician, rising to fame, and even played a bit. All the while, customers continued to shop in the store, having no idea it was James playing. Hetfield’s new ESP Iron Cross is available now:http://bit.ly/1hTHalL

Paul Ryan: War on poverty failed

January 10, 2014 Leave a comment

The War on Poverty “has failed,” Rep. Paul Ryan said Thursday night, arguing that the U.S. needs to reduce federal spending and rethink its entire strategy toward poverty.

In doing so, the House Budget Committee chairman issued a challenge to the Obama administration, which has pledged to make a strong push to combat income inequality and raise the minimum wage in 2014.

In a conversation with “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams at the Newseum in Washington, Ryan decried “trillions of dollars” of spending on federal programs while 46.5 million Americans remain under the poverty line. “We can do better than this,” he said.

“Too many people don’t know what the American idea is anymore,” the Wisconsin Republican said, calling for a more streamlined federal government and a family-and-community-oriented approach to fighting poverty.

Sen. Sessions’ response to the President’s announced “promise zones”

January 10, 2014 Leave a comment

Here is the text of Sen. Sessions’ response to the President’s announced “promise zones”:

“The President today announced five ‘promise zones’ scattered throughout the entirety of the nation for the millions of chronically unemployed Americans. It represents an admission that five years of tax, spend, borrow, and regulate have produced economic misery for countless Americans. His policies are growing the government and shrinking the middle class. Since the President declared the end of the recession, conditions for working Americans have not improved. Surely the President does not believe the five ‘promise zones’ are a sufficient remedy when 91.5 million Americans are outside the workforce. As his own economic advisor said, there are three people looking for every one job available.

Yet what is the President’s top second-term priority? Is it a plan to help Americans on unemployment and welfare find good-paying jobs? No, the top priority remains an immigration bill crafted by CEOs that will double the flow of new workers from abroad to compete in every industry and sector throughout the U.S. economy. If the President succeeds in pushing through the House his plan to take jobs needed by Americans, he will have to create many more ‘promise zones’ for the millions of displaced workers.”

Affordable Golf Club Act

December 24, 2013 Leave a comment

Since many of you have asked my opinion on the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), I thought this would be easier to understand since as it relates to golf.

The Obama administration has just passed a new law titled:
“The Affordable Golf Club Act” declaring that every citizen MUST purchase a new set of golf clubs, by April 2014.

These “affordable” golf clubs will cost an average of $1,000-$3,000 each.

This does not include taxes, pull cart, electric cart fees, green fees, membership fees, balls, tees, gloves, range finders, and storage fees,
maintenance, or repair costs.

This law has been passed, because until now, typically only wealthy and financially responsible people have been able to purchase new golf clubs. This new laws ensures that every American can now have
“affordable” golf clubs of their own, because everyone is “entitled” to new
golf clubs. If you purchase your golf clubs before the end of the year, you will receive 4 “free” golf lessons; not including driving range usage fees.

In order to make sure everyone purchases affordable golf clubs, the costs of owning a golf clubs will increase on average of 250-400% per year. This way, wealthy people will pay more for something that other people don’t want or can’t afford to maintain. But to be fair, people who can’t afford to maintain their golf clubs will be regularly fined and children (under the age of 26) can use their parents’ golf clubs to play until they turn 27; then must purchase their own golf clubs.

If you already have a golf clubs, you can keep yours (just kidding; no you can’t).

If you don’t want or don’t need golf clubs, you are required to buy them anyhow. If you
refuse to buy a set or can’t afford them, you will be regularly fined $800 until you purchase a set or face imprisonment.

Failure to use the golf clubs will also result in fines.

People living in the desert; ghettos; inner cities or areas with no access to golf courses are not exempt.  Age, skin cancer, bad back, no experience, being spastic nor lack of desire is acceptable excuses for not using your golf
clubs.

A government review board (that doesn’t know the difference between a hook or a slice) will decide everything, including; when, where, how often and for what purposes you can use your golf clubs along with how many people can ride in your golf cart and determine if one is too old or not healthy enough to be able to use their golf clubs.

They will also decide if your golf clubs have out lived their usefulness or if you must purchase specific accessories, (like a $500 range finder with slope adjustment) or a newer and more expensive set of golf clubs.

Those that can afford memberships at expensive golf country clubs will be required to do so…it’s only fair.

The government will also decide the name for specific golf clubs:  pitching iron – the Biden; wedge – the ReId; putter – the Pelosi.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in fines and possible imprisonment.

Government officials are exempt from this new law. If they want a new set of golf clubs, they and their families can obtain golf clubs free, at the expense of tax payers.

Unions, bankers and mega companies with large political affiliations ($$$) are also exempt.

If the government can force you to buy health care, they can force you to buy golf clubs….or ANYTHING else.
