Project Meridian Foundation ROOFTOP Soiree Apr. 16, Washington D.C.
Project Meridian
Now that the elections are over, thank the Lord, I can get to some stuff that I have put on the back burner for a while. While I was at the AFP Defend the American Dream Summit, I met a representative for Project Meridian. They are a foundation that is for the abolishment of the slave trade of women and children.

I said goodbye, then ended the call on my cell. I had just finished
talking to Nathan Wilson, thinking I would "gather some helpful
information" for The Fabulous Woman magazine. Now, I sat stunned. As a
strong advocate for women, I had heard of Nathan and his non-profit
organization and how he has even spoken in the Senate as an advocate
for women. Nathan was already familiar with TFW, so I didn’t find it
necessary to tell him that our mission is to provide a path to
empowerment, enrichment, and education for women. Our camaraderie was
instantaneous, as we are both men concerned about the oppression of
women. But that was half an hour earlier. Now I found my mind shocked
by the facts of Nathan’s revelation. You see, when I first spoke to Nathan Wilson, the CEO and Founder of
Project Meridian, I was just as naïve as most. I’ve heard in the news
about the sex trade, slavery, and prostitution of children and women in
foreign countries. Yet, I thought that we, in the land of the free,
were somehow immune from this. I was wrong.According to the CIA, 100,000 victims per year have been enslaved and
lured away either though cunning deceit or trickery. Many were given
the promise of attending college or getting a wonderful job. Instead,
they are forced into the sex trade in the United States to be raped for
someone else’s profit. People roam across our country to abduct young
girls across our country. They are abducted from shopping malls, fast
food restaurants, and outside other restaurants and bars. They are
lured with promises of a future in modeling, acting or some other
glamorous career. The number one state for these abductions is Kansas.
Runaways, leaving home in hopes of being set free with a better life,
find themselves instead enslaved. This is our issue. This is our
concern.Nathan stated that girls between the ages of 9 to 14 years old are
being sold in the Sex Trade in Las Vegas, Nevada. In one documentary,
148 girls were saved by Federal Law Enforcement after being sold every
day for $400.00 for a half an hour. These children were being raped for
profit 10 – 30 times a day for sex.Project Meridian Foundation has several missions. It is to identify,
protect and rehabilitate victims under the name of Operation Safe
House. It will also assist in the identification, capture and
prosecution of the those who target our children and women for their
own profit while advising and instructing International, Federal,
State, and Local law enforcement agencies within the scope of human
trafficking.Read the truth for yourself.
Go to ProjectMeridianFoundation.org. As long as one child or woman is enslaved in America, none of us are truly free.
This is a great Foundation and I would urge everyone to help them with a donation or to get the word out about this fine Organization.
