The real reason that Chicago lost its bid for the Olympic Games was the President’s own ego.  Both Michelle and Barak talked too much about themselves in their speeches at the IOC and pretty much insulted the IOC in doing that.   The ego of Obama is too blame and even his great speech making could not overcome his own ego.

Obama open to newspaper bailout bill

This is truly a scary proposition.  It is bad enough that the MSM is already in the tank for the Obama administration, but to have the Federal Government bail out the newspaper industry is a really really bad  idea.   What kind of hoops are they going to have to do to get money from the Federal Government.  We do not need Pravda here in the USA. We already have the NY Slimes, and do not need them under the thumb of the Federal Government for their turn at the trough.

The president said he is “happy to look at” bills before Congress that would give struggling news organizations tax breaks if they were to restructure as nonprofit businesses.

“I haven’t seen detailed proposals yet, but I’ll be happy to look at them,” Obama told the editors of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Toledo Blade in an interview.— The Hill
