John F’ing Kerry up to his old tricks again
It looks like John F’ing Kerry still wants to run for President or be in Shillary’s administration. He is bringing up th Swift Boats For Truth again, and again will get no where. He still has not released his 180 for everyone to see. He released it to some in the MSM, and that is a joke. He must have something really interesting in there that he wants the public no to see, or else he would have produced and shown the people what is in his 180. But no we got him talking about how he has got a dossier on the Swifties. Well, I am no rocket scientist, but when almost everyone in your outfit was with the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth, I think they might be telling the Truth. Something I think Kerry couldn’t find if it hit him in the face.
H/T to And Rightly So!
Kerry’s critics swing back
By TOM BENNER
Patriot Ledger State House BureauBOSTON – A liar. A traitor. Hanoi John.
U.S. Sen. John
Kerry’s comments on Monday regarding a possible future bid for the
presidency, and his arming up against the group Swift Boat Veterans for
Truth, are reopening old wounds from the Vietnam War and the 2004
presidential race.“He’s a liar,” said J. Craig Herman of
Pahoa, Hawaii, a former U.S. naval officer and registered Republican.
“Real heroes and real Navy officers do not not waltz around with a …
camera taking pictures of themselves on duty.”While some
veterans question Kerry’s military decorations and fault his subsequent
actions as a anti-Vietnam War protester, other others say they just
never warmed to the Massachusetts Democrat’s personal style.“There’s
something weasely about him,” said Elliot Olson, a self-described
independent voter from Minneapolis. “You can compare him to Bill
Clinton, but with Clinton you know what you’re getting.”The
63-year-old Kerry said Monday that he might run for president again,
perhaps in 2012. He also said he has compiled a dossier on his critics
at Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a group that dogged Kerry in the 2004
race. The comments, reprinted on political blogs including drudgereport.com, opinionjournal.com and lucianne.com, prompted hundreds of e-mails critical of the Vietnam veteran turned war protestor turned politician.
“I
see John Kerry as a traitor to this country,” said Stephen Chudej of
Plano, Texas, who describes himself as a political independent. “ I
think what he did was treachery and treason.”—The Patriot Ledger

Maybe you have seen this, but it’s worth a repeat.
The mess we are in, and who got us there!!
Sergeant Major J.D. Pendry says more in this short e-mail than most
professional authors say in ten articles. (J.D. Pendry is a retired Army
Command Sergeant Major who writes for Random House. HE IS QUITE ELOQUENT
and he seldom minces words!!!)Jimmy Carter, you’re the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You
threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then
lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our
people hostage. You’re the runner-in-chief.Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the
terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in
Somalia, and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses to the U.S.S. Cole
and the First Trade Center Bombing and Our Embassy Bombings emboldened the
killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately they grew bolder, until 9/11.John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied
about American Soldiers in Vietnam. Your military service, like your
life, is more fiction than fact. You’ve accused our Soldiers of terrorizing women
and children in Iraq . You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong
time, the same words you used to describe Vietnam. You’re a fake. You want to
run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did the
Vietnamese. Iraq , like Vietnam is another war that you were for, before you were
against it.John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can’t win
militarily in Iraq. You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded
murder without proof. And said we should redeploy to Okinawa. Okinawa John? And
the Democrats call you their military expert. Are you sure you didn’t suffer
a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume?
You’re a sad, pitiable, corrupt and washed up politician. You’re not a
Marine, sir. You wouldn’t amount to! a good pimple on a real Marine’s
***. You’re a phony and a disgrace.Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis,
tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot, who
murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned South
East Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same
fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? Lord help us!! See Dick
run.Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster-sized pictures from Abu
Grhaib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted
you saying that Iraqi’s torture chambers were open under new management. Did
you see the news this week, Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrate real
torture for you again. If you truly supported our troops, you’d show the world
poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of
it. Your legislation stripping support from the South Vietnamese led to a
Communist victory there. You’re a bloated drunken fool bent on repeating
the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to
homicidal, genocidal maniacs. To paraphrase John Murtha, all while sitting on your
wide, gin-soaked as-s in WashingtonHarry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane
Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Pat Leahy, Chuck Schumer, et
al ad nauseam. Every time you stand in front of television cameras and
broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied, that
the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers, that we should leave Iraq,
you give the Islamic butchers – the same ones that tortured and mutilated
American Soldiers – cause to think that we’ll run away again, and all
they have to do is hang on a little longer.American news media, the New York Times particularly: Each time you
publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence
gathering methods, you become one United, with the sub-human pieces of camel dung
that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers. You can’t strike
up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my
country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about
that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer. You are America’s "AXIS OF IDIOTS". Your Collective Stupidity will
destroy us. Self-serving politics and terrorist abetting news scoops are
more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent
civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in
the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing.
There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering
terrorists. Don’t ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend this war
as they extended Vietnam. If you want our Soldiers home, as you claim,
knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly
political aims and aiding our enemies. Yes, I’m questioning your
patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self. I’m also questioning why you’re stealing
air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don’t deserve the
protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war, this
country. Leave the war to the people who have the will to see it through
and the country to people who are willing to defend it.No, Mr. President, you don’t get off the hook, either. Our country
has two enemies: Those who want to destroy us from the outside and those
who attempt it from within. Your Soldiers are dealing with the outside
force. It’s your obligation to support them by confronting the AXIS OF IDIOTS.
America must hear it from you that these Self-centered people are
harming our country, abetting the enemy and endangering our safety. Well up a little
anger, please, and channel it toward the appropriate target. You must
prosecute those who leak national security secrets to the media. You
must prosecute those in the media who knowingly publish those secrets. Our
Soldiers need you to confront the enemy that they cannot. They need you
to do it now.AMEN

Kerry not running for President in 2008
Kerry won’t run for president in ’08
WASHINGTON –An emotional Senator John F. Kerry today said he will not run in the 2008 presidential race and vowed to use his Senate perch to hasten an end to the war in Iraq, saying he would work with lawmakers from both parties to reverse President Bush’s troop "surge" and force him to withdraw virtually all troops from Iraq by early next year.
Kerry, a Massachusetts Democrat, used the unusual forum of the Senate floor to announce his political ambitions. Choking up as he harkened back to his service in Vietnam, Kerry said he would work to make sure the next president doesn’t have to cope with the consequences of a "wider war" sparked by the failed policy in Iraq.
"Two years ago I sought the presidency to lead us on a different course. I’m proud of the campaign that we ran," Kerry said.
"We came close, Mr. President, certainly close enough to be tempted to try again," he continued. "There are powerful reasons to want to continue that fight now. But I’ve concluded that this isn’t the time for me to mount a presidential campaign. It is the time to put my energy to work as part of the majority in the Senate, to do all I can to end this war and strengthen our security.
"The people of Massachusetts have given me an incredible privilege to serve, and I intend to work here to change a policy in Iraq that threatens all that I have cared about and fought for since I came home from Vietnam," he said.
Kerry’s decision to stay out of the presidential race reflects a realization that he would have had an uphill climb in capturing the Democratic nomination, given the other party heavyweights who are already in the race, according to Kerry associates.
Kerry, the party’s 2004 presidential nominee, has been acting like a 2008 candidate virtually since he lost to President Bush — traveling the country, spreading money to other Democratic candidates, and keeping in place a campaign infrastructure that was ready for another presidential bid.
But according to Kerry associates, the senator’s plans changed dramatically in the fallout of his election-eve "botched joke" about the education levels of US troops. The harsh reaction to that incident — from many Democrats as well as Republicans — displayed to Kerry the extreme skepticism within his own party about whether he should mount another run.
And, with polls giving front-runner status to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York and Senator Barack Obama of Illinois, Kerry realized that he would face formidable adversaries in the quest for the Democratic nomination. Clinton, Obama, and a host of other candidates have been busily hiring campaign operatives and signing up key fund-raisers in recent weeks.
On Iraq, Kerry has emerged as a fierce war critic after initially supporting the invasion of Iraq. He has spoken of his war opposition in a similar vein to his efforts to bring the Vietnam War to a conclusion in the early 1970s.
Kerry’s announcement freezes in place the various Democratic aspirants to his Senate seat. Massachusetts hasn’t had a vacant Senate seat since 1984 — when Kerry himself won his first six-year-term — and several members of the state’s all-Democratic congressional delegation have expressed interest in running for the Senate if Kerry retired.
What a shame. I guess we won’t get any more of these kind of photos:

Lurch in the Middle East
What in the world is John F’ing Kerry doing in the Middle East. Why in the world should we have conversations with the two biggest terrorists sponsoring countries in the world. Even if we talk with them, could we even believe what they say. They are out to destroy Israel and the US. It is utterly stupid and idiotic to say we should have conversations witht these thugs. They are the ones sponsoring most of the violence in Iraq right now, are they just going to stop that from us talking with them?? What a joke of a candidate for the Presidency of the United States. All Americans should be ashamed of this man. If he ever does become president, he would ptobably be worse then Dhimmi Carter. If we let Iran and Syria dicatate what goes on in Iraq, they will control more of the oil reserves in the world and will have a great impact on the world economy.
Again I want to thank all of the conservatives that voted for Democrats in the last election. they have emboldened not only the Left in our country, but our enemies also.

You just got to love John F’ing Kerry. He always knows when to open his mouth up and put his foot in it. Maybe Darth Rove had his "Mind Control Device" going and made Kerry say these stupid things. Or maybe Lurch is just too stupid to realize that this just makes the Democrats looks worse and can hurt them in the elections. Thanks Kerry. Now I think the Republicans have a better chance at retaining control of both the House and the Senate.
In today’s DUmmie FUnnies, we have Kerry’s Holloween Surprise:
John Kerry’s Halloween Surprise
Just as October was ending, John Kerry presented us with his Halloween Surprise. In case you didn’t notice, the Democrat October Surprise in the form of the revelation that Mark Foley had gay non-sex via e-mail hit several weeks too early. In fact, it hit at the end of September when the overeager DEMOCRAT party operative running the "Stop Sex Predators" Blog jumped the gun and revealed the Foley e-mail, forcing Brian Ross of ABC News to do his report, fed to him by the Democrats, ahead of schedule. As a result, most people have pretty much forgotton about Mark Foley. The second Democrat October Surprise, in the form of the David Kuo book, suggesting that evangelicals conveniently take a break from politics, completely fizzled out. However, the Democrats did not let us down with their inadvertent Halloween October Surprise when John Kerry told a dopey joke that backfired bigtime. Kerry suggested that if you don’t do good in school, you end up stuck in Iraq. Then Kerry made things even worse with his unconvincing excuse that he REALLY meant that Bush would be stuck in Iraq and that anybody who didn’t get his strained interpretation of his joke was crazy. Of course, the DUmmies are now nervously defending Kerry as you can see in this THREAD titled, "I’m not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece." Yes, they are sticking up for Kerry but deep down you just know they had wished Kerry had kept his mouth shut and not blown the election for them. So let us now watch the DUmmies nervously defend Kerry in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, suggesting that Kerry try to improve his joke delivery at tryout night at the Laugh Factory, is in the [brackets]:
KERRY: "I’m not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece"
[As opposed to being lectured to a stiff suit MA Senator.]
October 31, 2006
[Happy Halloween, DUmmies!]
Statement of John Kerry Responding to Republican Distortions, Pathetic Tony Snow Diversions and Distractions
[Is that a John Kerry press release or is it from MSNBC’s "Hardball" show?]
Washington – Senator John Kerry issued the following statement in response to White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, assorted right wing nut-jobs, and right wing talk show hosts desperately distorting Kerry’s comments about President Bush to divert attention from their disastrous record:
[WOW! This is an actual official press release from John Kerry’s office and it sounds like it was written by DUmmie ben burch.]
“If anyone thinks a veteran would criticize the more than 140,000 heroes serving in Iraq and not the president who got us stuck there, they’re crazy. This is the classic G.O.P. playbook. I’m sick and tired of these despicable Republican attacks that always seem to come from those who never can be found to serve in war, but love to attack those who did.
[John, I think it is about time for you to set an appointment with Dr. Buddy Rydell for some intensive Anger Management therapy.]
I’m not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece standing behind a podium, or doughy Rush Limbaugh, who no doubt today will take a break from belittling Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s disease to start lying about me just as they have lied about Iraq. It disgusts me that these Republican hacks, who have never worn the uniform of our country lie and distort so blatantly and carelessly about those who have.
[Still ANGRY about losing in 2004, huh?]
The people who owe our troops an apology are George W. Bush and Dick Cheney who misled America into war and have given us a Katrina foreign policy that has betrayed our ideals, killed and maimed our soldiers, and widened the terrorist threat instead of defeating it. These Republicans are afraid to debate veterans who live and breathe the concerns of our troops, not the empty slogans of an Administration that sent our brave troops to war without body armor.
[Don’t apologize, John. Just lash out wildly. Blame Republicans rather than yourself.]
Bottom line, these Republicans want to debate straw men because they’re afraid to debate real men. And this time it won’t work because we’re going to stay in their face with the truth and deny them even a sliver of light for their distortions. No Democrat will be bullied by an administration that has a cut and run policy in Afghanistan and a stand still and lose strategy in Iraq.”
[Yup! Your 2004 election loss has hurt worse than I thought. Oh, and thanks to your dopey joke, you can FORGET about 2008. And now to hear from Kerry’s DUmmie defenders…]
kick ass kerry………doesnt get any better than this.
[It sure doesn’t get any better than this. Kerry just lost the Democrats a ton of votes.]
bwahaha, stuffed suit Snowjob—Kerry will never again be SWIFTBOATED!
[Or SWIFTJOKED!]
Senator Kerry, don’t let them get away with anything! You’re hitting back hard and doing great!
[…for the Republicans.]
Republicans with media access demanding apologies is just the way to get this into the echo chamber-it may work.
[Uh-oh!]
One way for DEMS to get media exposure is to "fool" the media & Republicans into repeating your "outrageous" statements for you. Either the strategists finally figured this out or it happened by accident- either way, good stuff!!!
[LOL! This is like Inspector Clouseau falling over a sofa while interviewing a suspect and then declaring that it was ALL planned in advance.]
I predict BushInc will end up regretting they blew this up.
[Keep repeating that until you can almost believe it yourself.]
They keep giving us the news cycle.
[All according to the brilliant John Kerry news cycle plan.]
So Kerry made the statement on purpose knowing it would piss off the repugs, so he could respond and showcase their lies and miserable policy failures, or something like that? And they fell for it, hook, line and sinker. Pure genius!
[All planned in advance by Inspector Clouseau Kerry.]
I don’t know – but he’s SEIZING the day.
[Well, Kerry did have a brain seizure, that’s for sure.]
Or perhaps he really is pissed off. I love a pissed off Kerry because he’s so passionate when he’s pissed off.
[I love a pissed off Kerry because he is BLOWING it for the Demcrats.]
Of course, this will drum up the repub idiot base, but that’s okay, we knew they’d use whatever they could to smear something to get the elderly church goers flustered, so it’s going to be a combo of gay marriage and Kerry "troop mocking".
[I’m glad to hear that a fired up Republican base is okay with you.]
I agree…I think the pukes were baited. It is hard to imagine after so many years of THEM tricking US, but I sincerely think that Kerry was ready for this. And now the debate shifts right back to Iraq. That favors us by a mile.
[Inspector Clouseau Kerry didn’t really fumble. He had it all planned out in advance.]
I like this version of Kerry.
[The stupid angry version works fine for me too.]
I always knew that inside the restrained Kerry in 2004 was a lion dying to get out. Look out GOP, the lion has escaped!
[Inside the restrained Kerry in 2004 was a mind dying to get out. Look out DEMOCRATS, the mind has escaped!]
YEAH ! good rant John !!!!!!!
[Your rabid foam looks so compelling!!!!!!!]
He and Gore both seem to have found their balls AFTER losing elections…
[And both seem to have also lost their minds AFTER losing elections…]
Love it when he’s off his leash!
[And off his rabies shots!]
Holy Shit! It seems like Dems are finaly learning how to fight to win!
[More like fight to lose.]
learning from Dr. Dean
[YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!]
Why is Kerry denying having said what the video shows him saying? If that’s what he believes, he should stand behind it. What’s wrong with standing by what he said?
[And this soon to be tombstoned DUmmie WINS a Kewpie Doll for having a brief moment of mental clarity!]
He mispoke. He meant to say "get us stuck in Iraq." Meaning
George Bush didn’t do well enough in school to understand the complexities of the region, much less to understand he can’t just beat people up to get his way. Kerry has said what he meant to say, but he is not going to apologize to a bunch of liars who pretend to support the troops.[Excuses. Excuses.]
And isn’t it the truth? Eliminate the military college people, the doctors, nurses, and specilaists and what is left? There are probably very few college grads in the miltary and I don’t know of any on a campus right now who somehow are in Iraq at the same time. Now there might be some gung ho types on campus who talk a good game, but are they quitting school for Iraq? Not likely.
[Is that you, John Kerry?]
It was a stupid remark, off the cuff at time when Dems can’t afford f*ck ups. This pisses me off – a stupid ass mistake close to the election.
[A Reality Check DUmmie. Sorry, only one Kewpie Doll awarded per thread.]
It pisses me off that he would be so arrogant and careless when other Dem candidates have been working their asses off to run good campaigns.
[John Kerry’s Trick has turned into a GOP Treat!]
John, you are not going to be the nominee in 2008 – please let us run this one without you. And please …STFU!
[Shhhh! Kerry’s on a roll!]
And Kerry, STFU, no one needs this crap right now. Kerry just dealt Rove an ace and I’m sick about it.
[Never play poker against Master Rove.]
I don’t think his plan was to mis-speak so he would get attacked and then come back fighting mad. He screwed up and it could hurt the dems.
[It looked like he bungled but it was all planned that way in advance by Inspector Clouseau Kerry.]
Who knew that Kerry would be the GOP’s October Surprise.
[Happy Halloween!]
I really don’t understand all of those here who are congratulating themselves over this. Kerry stepped in it and with a week to go, the media is focusing on whether or not the Democrats hate the troops. This is bull shit and Kerry should have known better. This is why he can’t win a national election. He has all the charisma of a wolverine. Perhaps he can repair the damage with a few dozen six syllable words. That should play well in Kansas. Yes, I know he’s right, but that’s besides the point. The average american will see this a a slap at those who are currently serving in Iraq. And why shouldn’t they? Many of them volunteered out of sincere patriotism. The fact that they were mislead is irrelevant, at this point. They die, and Kerry pokes fun at them. Way to go, John.
[Way to go, John.]
Stupid ass mistake on Kerry’s part. It was a dumb remark, one easily misinterpreted. Its so unfair to all the Dems who have been working so hard this election season. Someone put a muzzle on Kerry and send him off to go windsurfing or something.
[Or waterboarding or something.]
Kerry and Pelosi need to SHUT THE F*CK UP! At least until Nov 8th. Unless your spouting the failures of this retarded administration, or continually hitting them where it hurts, (Foley, Ambramoff… etc.), keep your trap shut, lest you say something really stupid that the Repigs can spin into damage for us. I’m so fucking pissed right now, I can’t believe it. I even started coming up with conspiracy theories that Kerry is a Repig plant, why else would he have conceded in ’04 so easily? Now this horse-shit! I realize that people are passionate about what they believe, now more than ever, but WE DON"T NEED THIS KIND OF CRAP RIGHT NOW! Jesus help us… I can just hear Rush Limpdick shitting himself with glee right now…
[Keep speaking up, Kerry and Pelosi!]
Kerry is OK…but he should quit while he’s ahead…
but he doesn’t…he always manages to step in dogshit in the middle of a speech and making himself look foolish, trying to shake it off his shoe.[I have confidence in Kerry that he will make it even worse.]
I don’t know if it will do them any good, but it certainly doesn’t help our cause. It’s easy for us to be in John’s corner and get fired up in the heat of battle, but the REAL battle is over the voters who haven’t decided HOW to vote or WHETHER to vote. We’re counting on some voters who have to hold their nose to vote for a Democrat, and some of them will be turned off by Kerry’s remark. We also need rethug voters to stay home, and the GOP will try to use this to get them fired up and to the polls.
[A lot of DUmmies vying for Kewpie Dolls in this thread. Sorry, but I already used up my quota.]
Gosh, maybe his original remarks were bait for a pretty ingenious trap. Get these pussies to spout off, impugning his respect for soldiers, then shoving their fat, lying faces in it.
[Inspector Clouseau Kerry’s bungle was really bait for a pretty ingenious trap.]
Looks like at least some Democrats are moving away from Kerry.
Brucy Braley from Iowa has cancelled his campaign stop with Kerry.
Kerry cancelled a stop in Minnesota.

John F’ing Kerry and the Patriot Project.
Kerry if forming a group to counter the Swifties. I guess he is running in 2008 and wants to get his reputation back. Well, he could jiust sign his 180 form and be done with it, but he doesn’t wnat to do that for some reason. Maybe, it is because the Swifties are right. So he is formong the Patriot Project. I wonder if they wioll help President Bush out with all of the false AWOL stories?????
John Kerry Dares You To Question His Patriotism
John Kerry is really REALLY angry as you can see in his HUffington Blog POST titled, "Will You Fight With Them?" Basically he blames the Swift Boat Vets For Truth for causing his 2004 defeat. Many folks, including Democrats, wondered why Kerry simply didn’t counter their charges back in 2004. It could have been done very simply by sending in his Form 180 to the Defense Department to release his Navy records. He didn’t do it at the time nor did he do it later when he promised Tim Russert that he would sign his Form 180. Yes, he did sign his form 180 but somehow forgot to SEND it in. So rather than put this military record controversy behind him by signing and SENDING in his Form 180 he is setting up a bogus organization called the Patriot Project to do his fighting for him. So let us now watch John Kerry crybaby about his "unfair" treatment in Bolshevik Red along with his HUffie cheerleaders while the commentary of your humble correspondent, watching Mama T’s Boy Toy sink himself again, is in the [brackets]:
Anyone who comes to Huffington Post has seen that the bloggers here have been the first to stand up and defend veterans from Admiral Sestak to Tammy Duckworth when they’ve been slandered. It should be a source of pride and testimony to how the blogosphere can get the truth out and deny lies a sliver of daylight.
[Posted John Kerry from somewhere deep in Cambodia.]
But I need to tell you about a bigger effort that many here at Huffington Post have been working on very hard these last few weeks – and could use all of our help with from now to November 7th.
[You won’t have to worry about November 2008 since you won’t be getting that far thanks to Hillary.]
The Patriot Project has an incredibly important and concise mission. "Freedom of speech and the right to dissent are cornerstones of our democracy. The Patriot Project will defend any man or woman, regardless of party or affiliation, who is attacked or defamed and whose patriotism is questioned simply because they exercise their rights as Americans. This is our mission."
[Your mission is to shout out any Kerry critic. You are hoping that you can put up such a whining fuss that nobody will notice what the Swift Boat Vets For Truth are saying…or the fact that you have NOT sent in your Form 180.]
That’s pretty damn fundamental in itself to who we are. But there’s a human face behind it. The fight is intensely personal to me. Veterans are running for office all over our country. A lot of them got interested in politics as part of my campaign, and some got involved in Wes Clark’s race. Some of us had disagreements for thirty five years — like me and Jim Webb, we didn’t see eye to eye over the war we fought in. But no matter where we came from, something much bigger now brings us together — we’re all a band of brothers now. When I got off the phone with Patrick Murphy after the chickenshit attacks on his military record, something felt awfully familiar and it got me pissed off. I care about these men and women. They’ve got guts and they’ve got brains and they’ve got heart and I’m telling you they will change the character of this pathetic Congress, and I’m boiling mad watching people who didn’t serve attack those who did because they can’t win a debate on the merits.
[You’re boiling mad alright. The fact that the Swift Boat Vets sunk your candidacy has been seared, SEARED into your memory and you don’t want it to happen again.]
But we need to take our anger and put it somewhere constructive – and the folks at Patriot Project have a very smart way of doing exactly that. They’ve been exposing front group after front group that have popped up this year just as they did in 2004, and they’ve been kicking the enemy right in the teeth.
[Methinks you need to consult with Dr. Buddy Rydell for your Anger Management Program. You STILL haven’t gotten over your 2004 loss due to the Swift Boat Vets exposure of you.]
From Bob Perry’s Economic Freedom Fund to "Vets For Truth" which has been attacking a once and forever Marine Jack Murtha, The Patriot Project has been fighting back. And fighting back hard.
[We must kill them. We must incinerate them. Pig after pig. Cow after cow. Village after village. Army after army.]
Yesterday, I had the chance to send out an email on behalf of The Patriot Project, asking people to help do whatever they can to support their mission.
[I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor. That’s my dream. That’s my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight… razor… and surviving.]
But if there’s one thing I’ve learned in politics, it’s that you need to ask and ask and ask again. I’m asking again here today. Please visit http://www.patriotproject.com. Learn more about what they’re doing and where they’re planning on fighting these final weeks. With our help, they will be out there from California to Pennsylvania and everywhere in between.
[My mission is to make it up into Cambodia. There’s a Green Beret Colonel up there who’s gone insane. I’m supposed to kill him.]
It’s up to all of us to say enough is enough. Stop the swift-boating. Stop the push-polling. Stop the front groups that are created with single $5,000,000 donations from Texas tycoons.
[Part of me was afraid of what I would find and what I would do when I got there. I knew the risks, or imagined I knew. But the thing I felt the most, much stronger than fear, was the desire to confront him.]
Nitpick the campaign I ran all you want, question the tactics, I can take it — but above all the small criticisms, I know that I lost to two lies backed up by big money: a lie about Iraq and a lie about my military record. Pundits can feast on the little details, I’m busy this year making sure that no veteran loses to a lie in 2006.
[I worry that my son might not understand what I’ve tried to be. And if I were to be killed, Willard, I would want someone to go to my home and tell my son everything. Everything I did, everything you saw, because there’s nothing that I detest more than the stench of lies. And if you understand me Willard, you will do this for me.]
Stand up for the truth by supporting The Patriot Project.
[The horror. The horror. …And now to hear from the HUffington Post Peanut Gallery…]
When the greatest Prsidential candidate in decades gets behind something so worthwhile then look out Congress! Kerry/Un-Edwards in ’08!!!
[Great endorsement of the Breck Girl there—Un-Edwards. Or do you mean Un-Breck?]
Thank you, Senator Kerry. I believe the Patriot Project is certainly a worthy cause. However, although the Swift Boat liars may have convinced some, you did not lose because of them. You did not lose at all. You are the rightful President of the United States.
[I BEEEEEELEEEEEEVE John Kerry was inaugurated President on Jan. 20, 2005.]
The exit polls showed you the clear landslide winner – until they were changed after midnight on that fateful November day in 2004.
[And we all know that polls are completely accurate…much more so than the final poll where people actually vote.]
If you would like to make another run for the Presidency, Senator Kerry, I believe you owe your supporters an explanation as to why you did not fight for us – and for the security of our franchise – in November of 2004. Because you stepped away from this battle, our voting systems are even more of a disaster this year. Since the GOP is so far behind in the polls, it will have more incentive than ever to employ its dirty tactics of voter suppression, purging and hacking the easily programmable voting machines. What are you planning to do about this, Senator?
[John Kerry has your back.]
Yay! You’re pissed off and you called their attacks chickenshit. I just wish you’d done it in 2004. After the predictable pat response from the chickenhawks about profanity and lack of values, etc (never mind that they’re potty mouths themselves, big time) I think you would have won w/ enough room to beat back their dirty tricks in Ohio.
[Yay!]
It’s good to see John Kerry show some fire.
This is how he should have run his campaign, from the heart. Because this is not a chess game, it’s a street fight.[John Kerry plans to run his next campaign like a loon.]
It wasn’t just the big money that helped sell the lies. It was also the corporate media which is owned by Big Money.
[And we all know that Matt Lauer, Katie Couric, Brian Williams, etc. are all in the Republican corporate media Big Money pocket.]
You WON the election! You ARE the rightful president! Why didn’t you fight for the presidency the way you fought for America in Vietnam? Now we’re living in a dictatorship. It’s too late; the elections are rigged.
[Give up hope…NOW!!!]
It is our right to be free from a totalitarian regime. We as the human race have earned that much.
[Spaketh a member of the reality based community.]
‘..chickenshit attacks, ‘..pissed off’. Where was THIS John Kerry when we needed him two years ago. If he keeps up this level of passion, he might just earn my vote, AGAIN.
[John F. Kerry is just two F-words away from earning your vote.]
In the absence of some serious "game quality elevation" by the Democrats – which I have not seen – Democrats will lose again. In fact, we are one terrorist attack; a Bin Laden catching; a boom cycle away from sticking a fork in the hopes of the Democrats to win a majority in congress for years to come. At some point, brilliant bullshit artistes like Rove will run rings around the Democrats so completely that I’m switching to the Republican party to avoid being targeted for assignment to the Re-Education Camps.
[Too bad for you that we are already in a boom cycle so you better switch to Republican before Karl Rove can send you away to a WalMart Re-Education Camp, my reality based little HUffie.]
Senator, please help your party in this way: You have a lot of cash in your campaign account. Free some up for the DCCC and perhaps the DSCC – there are a lot more races in play than there were even a month ago. Sadly, TV is perhaps the only way to reach a lot of voters, and TV costs money. Your party and your country need this. Please help in this way – it may be the most valuable thing you can do this fall.
[Unfortuately, Mama T is getting tired of being hit up for money.]
Also, if you do run in 2008 (please do!), stop talking like a prosecutor. Prosecutors have to present and then demolish their opponents’ lines of defense so they can leave the jury with no other alternative but to accept the state’s version of what happened. That doesn’t work in Presidential politics. In the age of 30 second sound-bites, there is no room for acknowledging the opposition. Doing so only makes you seem indecisive. That’s why they were able to tar you as a "flip-flopper." Either make your case unapologetically or attack their position; either attack or defend with everything you’ve got anything less than single-minded focus might impress the interviewer, but it will lose your audience. If you are clear, concise, focused and uncompromising you will win.
[John Kerry clearly and concisely told us he was signing his Form 180. It was only the sending it in part that he wasn’t so clear about.]
What did he do for his own state except grab federal dollars for a Big Dig project? If he did something for Mass., and if he intended to do things for the country, he didn’t seem to want us to know about it.
[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!]
Super! Will they help dfend Bush? He is being called a deserter and AWOL by the anti-US crowd and saying he is a theocrat, not a patriot!
[The Patriot Project only defends Democrats, not EVIL Republicans.]
My vote for you in 2004 was a waste because you did not fight for it, and those of others like me. Shame on you.
[John Kerry has your back.]
It’s a little late for Milque Toast Kerry to say we have to stand up to them. After lying back and letting them Swift Boat him in 2004 makes him the #1 Pansy in my book. Hey Kerry: go off with Mike Dukakis and have some policy discussions.
[One of them looked like Snoopy and the other looked like the Energizer Bunnie.]
