I am importing all the old posts

But I forgot to figure in that all the pics are on the old Godaddy hosting.   So most of the old pics are gone.    Did not figure that in the equation.   Oh well.

If you want you can look at the names of all the old pics

But I think I am pretty much done importing and if you want you can also see them at my backup blog .

So tell me how you like, or do not like the new look.  I think I am going to try and keep this one cleaner looking without all the widgets and pics on the sidebars.   Makes it better for you and also I do not have to take forever finding and changing all the stuff on the blog lists and stuff.

But the Feedburner url is the same, and I have updates some of the plugins that are cleaner and newer looking.  Like the Flickr and Youtube pages.   I also got a page to all the rss feeds that I read.  SO basically I do not have a blog roll now.

More Blog Updates

OK I never said I was going to be done tweaking the blog,  I just got the theme and basic layout fixed now.  But I am always on the lookout for some good plugins for the blog.   I added a few more sidebar widgets, Tweet Blender, Post Views , My Tweeps and The popular posts of the week.   It looks like the Tweet Blender is down right now, but that might have to do with the downtime of Twitter earlier today.  Also the Popular posts I think will not get going until later this week.   Si bare with me on the little side shows on the sidebars.   I will still have the same content on the blog, but will be tweaking it every once in a while.   As most of  you know I am a geek and love all the new gadgets and interesting plugins.  Some may stay others might get tossed.

Oh well.   Back to the regualr scheduled non-sense.   Let me know if anything does not work or if you have any other questions.

OK it seems that I change the theme and look of this blog more than I change clothes.   But I think I have finally got it down and will leave this theme and look up for a while.

Welcome to Stix Blog ver. 3.0

For all of you that are coming from my old blog Stix Blog, I want to thank you for coming over from the old blog.   It was fun but $15 a was getting to expensive and there is much more you can do with Word Press.   So thanks ti Chad at Grizzly Groundswell, I got my new Stix Blog ver. 3.0.   It will mostly be like the old blog, but will also be doing other things here.   I have joined the #dontgo Movement, and also in the forming phase of getting a Grizzly Groundswell Fighting Squad to go around the country and get people online and active in politics.   After the elections, we are in need of getting the Conservative word out there and to get the Republican Party back on track and get away from the drunken sailor spending and total lack of Free Market Solutions.   we need to get back the Republican Party back to being the Party of Limited Government, Personal Freedom and back to the Constitution.

So welcome to the new and improved Stix Blog version 3.0.   And do not mind the little changes that are going to happen now and again.   I will be adding on and changing things around until I get things the way I want them to, but that might never happen, I always like tinkering around, and I can do that a lot more here on Word Press.

And the Archives from Typepad did not transfer over here, so I got the back up of those at the free Word Press blog.

The New Blog

Well, I finally went to Word Press, and left Typepad. It is much better coming over here and not wasting the money on the monthly costs. So with a little help from my friends, I got this blog now. Woo Hoo.

So this will be the same as the old, but with a little more indepth posts. But I will still be trying to get the Conservative message out and help get them united against the swerving to the Left our country has done over the past couple decades. After Reagan, the country has gone to the left and left Conservatism and let Liberalism into our government. From the No Child Left Behind to the McCain-Feingold bills, we have left the path the Constitution has laid out for this country. FDR started it and we have been left the track of what our Founding Fathers wrote so long ago.
