Here is another great post by the Fjordman at Gates of Vienna

Going Gentle Into That Good Night

The noted blogger Fjordman is filing this report via Gates of Vienna.
For a complete Fjordman blogography, see
The Fjordman Files. There is also a multi-index listing here.

Fjordman sent us this as a brief response to our earlier post, “Job Hunting While White”.

I usually don’t write about skin color, although I have done so sporadically in the past. However, the amount of hatred and racism against whites is now becoming so aggressive, palpable and indeed publicly accepted in much of the world that perhaps I should write another essay about it. Let me start briefly here.

It is noticeable how aggressive many Leftists have become against whites, parallel to Muslim immigration. I think the Leftist logic goes something like this: We failed to achieve our Socialist society during the Cold War. The “white,” Western culture blocked our goals. Since a Socialist society is good, those blocking it are evil, hence whites are evil and need to be subdued and destroyed, even if this includes our own sons, daughters and grandchildren. Utopia requires a Villain Class to be smashed and sacrificed. In the global, Multicultural Utopia, this appears to be whites in general.

I have heard Mexicans in the USA state that white Americans should “go home” to Europe. Of course, if they do go back to Europe, they will find that portions of Europe are increasingly unlivable for whites. We’re not supposed to have a “home.”

I’m sure the British are told that they are swamped by immigration because they used to be a colonial power. But mass immigration to countries such as Norway, Sweden or Switzerland proves that this is not related to past colonial history, since we don’t have any. It is related to one, and only one thing: We are born white. That makes us evil, hence destroying us and our heritage is a good thing. Dozens of nations across an entire continent are being deliberately destroyed and the natives stripped off their lands and culture. This represents perhaps the greatest crime of our age yet it is hardly talked about, and if it is, it is celebrated. 2008 is supposed to be a pan-European year for celebrating diversity, while the natives from Britain via Denmark to Germany, the Netherlands, France and Spain can hardly walk the streets in many of their major cities without being harassed.
– – – – – – – – – –
The Danish writer Carsten Ringsmose was a speaker at a conference at the University of Odense on the immigration-related topic of “Recognition and integration.” He outlined the projected population growth for the Islamic world, and stated that if recent prognoses are correct, the Islamic world will witness a population growth more than the equivalent of all EU member countries combined within just a few decades. One of the other speakers suggested that this population boom could be solved through migration to the West, which would mean that Denmark, with a present population of 5.4 million inhabitants, would have to accept perhaps 9.5 million predominantly Muslim immigrants within the coming two generations. The man who suggested this, accompanied by segments of the audience, laughed when Mr. Ringsmose suggested that this simply wasn’t doable.

Following the release of a UN population report discussed by Mr. Ringsmose, Marie Simonsen, political editor of the Norwegian left-wing newspaper Dagbladet, wrote that it should be considered a universal human right for people everywhere to migrate wherever they want to. This will quickly swamp a tiny Scandinavian nation. She thus endorsed the persecution and eventual eradication of her own people, no doubt congratulating herself for her own tolerance.

White critics of mass immigration are systematically demonized as racists, bigots, “right-wing extremists” or Fascists and Nazis. Some, such as Pim Fortuyn, are even indirectly killed for it, whereas in the most extreme cases such as Sweden, Antifascistisk Action (AFA) will physically attack you if they deem you to be critical of immigration. Muslim groups who support terrorism and want to smash Western civilization are called moderates in Western media, yet we are labeled as extremists if we resist being turned into a minority in our own country. Europeans, from Britain via the Netherlands to Italy, are supposed to meekly accept our eradication, actively promoted by our media, intelligentsia and political leaders.

Has this ever happened before? That members of a nation deliberately want to eradicate their own people, genetically and culturally, and harass those who resist? There isn’t even a word for this because it is so unique. Auto-genocide, perhaps? Or what about inverted Nazism? Western Multiculturalists, too, just like Nazis, give a special role to whites, only this time, it is a negative one.

Resisting mass immigration to Europe is not about “white supremacy,” it is about our continued physical existence. We live in a world demographically, and perhaps soon economically, dominated by Asians. Whites have a right to exist, too. Or don’t we?

Vigilant Freedom newsletter

July 23, 2007 Leave a comment

This came yo me vai the Vigialant Freedom Newsletter.  We need everyone’s help on this to keep the "John Doe" in a Homeland Security bill before Congress.

In Washington, a House-Senate conference committee on a homeland security bill is considering whether to include a measure to protect, from lawsuit, Americans who report suspicious behavior.  The so-called "John Doe" measure comes in response to a lawsuit by six imams who were booted from a plane that was about to fly from Minneapolis late last year because they were acting very suspiciously, refusing to sit in their assigned seats, asking for metal seat belt extenders, and speaking loudly and disparagingly about the United States.  The imams plan to sue not only the airline but the passengers who reported their behavior — a step that, if successful, could have a chilling effect on whether other Americans come forward to report such behavior or whether they decide that doing so isn’t worth the legal fees.  Without this protection, Americans would have no reason to follow the motto of law enforcement agencies: "If you see something, say something."

Separately, the "John Doe" legislation passed both the House and Senate by overwhelming margins.  But key Democrats are trying to drop it from the homeland security bill, which would kill it.  House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson isn’t enthused about it, and Senate Judiciary Chairman Pat Leahy spoke against it on the Senate floor.  The conference committee is meeting and will make a final decision on this vital legislation in the coming days.

If you agree Americans should be encouraged to report suspicious behavior, if you agree they should not be intimidated by the threat of a lawsuit that could bankrupt them, now is the time to act.  Call or e-mail your own Senator and your House member.  You can find their contact information at http://www.congress.org – just enter your zip code.  Tell them to insist that the conference committee include "John Doe" protection in this bill.  And after calling or e-mailing your own Senator and House member, contact Congressman Thompson and Senator Leahy.  Also contact House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and Senate Assistant Majority Leader Richard Durbin.

Don’t leave Americans who do the right thing by reporting suspicious behavior out in the cold.  Don’t let Americans be intimidated into keeping quiet.  In the war on terror, there’s too much at stake for all of us.

Open Letter to President Bush

From The Gates of Vienna

Dymphna

President George W. Bush
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Switchboard: 202-456-1414
FAX: 202-456-2461]

Dear Mr. President:

I write to you with great sadness, the kind of despair that descends on one after hopes have been dashed many times, after repeated betrayals by a leader who said what I wanted to hear, but whose actions have not lived up to his words.

You have a chance to redeem yourself with the many millions who voted for you. At 11:30 a.m., when you speak tomorrow at the Washington Islamic Center, you could put all of our hearts at ease if you change the direction and tenor of your communications to Muslims in this country.

Sir, you must stand up for our pluralist values. You must ask the Muslims you address tomorrow to disavow the Islamists who were responsible for September 11th. You must forcefully tell them to rein in their children in this country, twenty-five per cent of whom think suicide bombing attacks are a justifiable and honorable way to deal with the enemy.

You must name the enemy out loud to the Muslims you will be addressing. You must specifically condemn Hamas and Hezbollah by name. It is not sufficient or honorable for you, as the sitting President, to vaguely refer to “terrorists.” It is imperative that you say it: Islam as it is practiced by many of these groups is not a religion, but a political ideology which seeks to dominate the rest of us by force.

You must tell these Muslims – at least the ones who are American citizens – that it is wrong to refer to Israel or to American Jews as the “Zionist lobby.” You know very well there is a vocal Muslim lobby in this country. You must address them directly: if they do not refrain from anti-Semitic remarks, then you, as a Texan, will speak forthrightly about the powerful, well-funded Islamist lobby, led by the Muslim Brotherhood and its followers and fellow-travelers.

You must tell those in the audience at the Islamic Center – funded by the Wahhabist Saudis – that they are obliged to begin demonstrating American-style moderation, that they must cease their demands for special privilege and their claims that jihadism does not exist. You know their claims are lies, Mr. President, and you must tell them you know it. Otherwise you are merely another politician whose soul has a price – and you will be thusly judged by your fellow Americans and by history.

It is your job to give direction and leadership to all of us, including the Muslims who live here. Tomorrow you have a shining opportunity; I beg you not to tarnish it with weasel words and untruths. Your people have had all they can take, sir, and they need you.

You have sent men into battle to fight the enemies of America. Do not betray your soldiers by refusing to speak up in their behalf in front of this group. Their lives are in your hands; if you let them slip through your fingers for God-knows-what political reasons, then their blood is on you. After tomorrow, if you do not speak up, fewer parents will want to meet with you. What comfort could you offer them? Your tears are not enough.

Please prayerfully consider what you will say tomorrow at the Islamic Center. We will all be listening. We will all be waiting to hear you uphold the oath of office you took – twice – to protect us.

May God have mercy on all of us, but particularly on you. You asked for this job, you fought hard for it. Now go out tomorrow and perform it.

This is your last chance to regain my loyalty, and I am sure that is true for many others who voted for you. If you do not stand up for the liberty you were so willing to name, then we are lost to you and can only wait in silence for you to leave.

I await your speech.

Sincerely, your fellow citizen,

Dymphna

This is a very good letter and hopefully the President will read it and take it to heart.

What has happened to President Bush and the rest of the Republican Party. Did they not get the message in the 2006 elections.  The Republicans were voted out not becuse the Democrats have better plans or are liked better, it is because the Republicans had turned into the Democrats.  The Republican Party has better wake up and see what the people want.  If the Amnesty Bill is passed, I think a lot of Republicans will jump off and say good-bye.  I am not one of them, I think the Bill is not as bad as some say.  It is an amnesty bill that should not be voted for, but with the Democrats in charge it is probably the best we are going to get.  Hopefully there can be some good ammendments to shore up some of the most aggregious faults in the bill.

Please for the love of the country, Republicans get back to the basics, lower taxes, smaller government and federalism.

Governor Tim Kaine surrenders Virginia to Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, receives nice dinner as payment

May 24, 2007 Leave a comment

Originally posted at Vigilante Freedom via Gates of Vienna

Kainesurrenders This last weekend, the Commonwealth of Virginia was signed over to the Muslim Brotherhood, care of the Muslim American Society (MAS). Kaine must be hoping for a VP nomination from Obama — after all, if the Democrat Party presidential ticket needs a Southerner, he’d better prove his dhimmitudiness early in the game.

He gave the keynote speech at the local Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation dinner. A real team player, he’s just following Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) game plan from her Syria visit, and Steny Hoyer’s (D-MD) charm offensive with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. With very little effort, his staff could have researched the connections of the MAS to the Muslim Brotherhood and some extreme jihadist doctrine. We have to assume this is a choice, not a mistake. Good to get to know you, governor…

Here’s some background on the Muslim American Society for Virginians. We live in occupied territory in this information war, and it’s about time we began winning some of it back from the occupiers:

A Chicago Tribune (subscription required) article describes the Muslim Brotherhood deciding to operate in the U.S. as the Muslim American Society:

Shaker Elsayed, a top MAS official, says the organization was founded by Brotherhood members but has evolved to include Muslims from various backgrounds and ideologies.

“Ikhwan [Brotherhood] members founded MAS, but MAS went way beyond that point of conception,” he says.

Way beyond indeed. The Brotherhood probably thought they wouldn’t get Virginia for another decade or two, but then they hadn’t planned on this level of help from Kaine.

A Weekly Standard article “MAS’s Muslim Brotherhood Problem,” quotes from MAS curricula. Although MAS has removed the links in that article, the same curricula is still available here at the San Diego MAS website — including as part of the Level I MAS required reading, the Muslim Brotherhood Project document, Milestones by Sayyid Qutb . Visit the link before they hide it again…Here, from the Weekly Standard article — a position that Kaine apparently has adopted as part of the 2008 Virginia Democratic Party platform:

For example, MAS requires all its adjunct members to read Fathi Yakun’s book To Be a Muslim. In that volume, Yakun spells out his expansive agenda: “Until the nations of the world have functionally Islamic governments, every individual who is careless or lazy in working for Islam is sinful.”

And also on that MAS curricula, the writings of Imam Hassan Al-Banna, who teaches the following (and yes, it will be on the final exam for All governors aiming for Democrat Party President/VP primaries, not just early adopters of salafism like Tim Kaine):

Reforming the government so that it may become a truly Islamic government, performing as a servant to the nation in the interest of the people. By Islamic government I mean a government whose officers are Muslims who perform the obligatory duties of Islam, who do not make public their disobedience, and who enforce the rules and teachings of Islam.

There is no problem if the Islamic government utilises the services of non Muslims when necessary, so long as they do not offer them positions of leadership. Islam is flexible as to shape and detailed structure of the government, but it must be in agreement with the general principles of the Islamic ruling system.

Or this letter to the Washington Post by the head of MAS, Esam Omeish, praising the Muslim Brotherhood:

The influence of Muslim Brotherhood ideas has been instrumental in defining our understanding of Islam within the American and Western context …..

At least now Kaine can deliver the Red House, Virginia Jamaat ul Fuqra vote in the 2008 election.

Here’s the press release in entirety:

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most MercifulGovernor of Virginia Gives Keynote Speech at MAS Freedom Foundation Standing for Justice Award Dinner

Another great post by the Fjordman at Gate of Vienna

Fjord

The noted blogger Fjordman is filing this report via Gates of Vienna.

The Fjordman Files. There is also a multi-index listing here.

There are two different camps among those concerned with the problems of the modern West: Those who ascribe them to a powerful and influential minority who champion certain ideologies, and those who ascribe them to a lack of cultural confidence and structural, religious and metaphysical problems in the West in general. I personally see some evidence to support both these explanations.

An alliance of left-wingers and right-wingers, or transnational progressives and transnational capitalists as John Fonte would have said, is undermining the nation state. It is more than a little ironic that Socialists are squarely on the side of the super-rich in desiring open borders. There is plenty of evidence that mass immigration has been promoted by cultural and political elites, and that opposition to this has been silenced with sometimes quite repressive means.

The Netherlands was much less thrilled about Multiculturalism than was generally assumed in elitist circles well before 2002. The media and the politicians drew a picture that simply didn’t correspond to reality. Maverick politician Pim Fortuyn only brought popular discontent to the surface, three sociologists at the Radboud University in Nijmegen concluded. “The positive image that almost all the Dutch had the same tolerant attitude to minorities as the ‘well-thinking’ section of the nation” (as the political and media elite are often described) was kept alive for a long time,” the sociologists maintain.

I do not dispute the fact that there has been a general breakdown of cultural confidence in the West and in Europe, but I do dispute the claim that this has translated into a generally shared death wish where the masses happily embrace their own eradication. The prevalence of hate speech laws and censorship is a strong indication of the contrary. Still, let us have a look at some structural flaws in the West.

As Euripides said: “Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.” Well, the West is currently stark, raving mad, and sometimes actively hates itself. I’m scratching my head trying to find out where this self-loathing comes from. Maybe we feel guilty because we are so successful and rich and accomplished that we just can’t take it anymore. But where do such ideas about guilt originate from? I suspect they are somehow related to the Judeo-Christian strand of the West. They do not stem from the Greco-Roman or Germanic ones. Bad things could be said about Julius Caesar, but suicidal guilt definitely wasn’t his major problem. Maybe we need a touch of Roman ruthlessness as well as Christian compassion. But Western self-loathing is frequently directed against Christianity, and that is somewhat puzzling if we assume that it emanates from Christianity.

Read the whole thing, it is another great post form the Fjordman

Kafirphobia

April 24, 2007 Leave a comment

Does someone call you an Islamophobe every time you point out that the religion of peace is behind the murders in Iraq, Sudan, Chechnya and many otherplaces around the world??  Well , I do every once in  awhile.

But the Islamofascists have really got a phobia.   As Larwyn calls it Kuffarphobia.  It is the fear of infidels.  Do I or anybody else that points out that Muslims are killing Muslims, Jews, Christians, Sieks, Budhist and any other religion, kill or torture Muslims in the process????  NO  But when the Kafirphobes get a hold of an infidel, they cut off his head with a dull knife or shoot him in the back of the head.

Phobias are a irrational fear of something.  I do not fear the Islamofascists, I just despise them.  But the Islamofascists theym kill, rape, torture any one that does not have their same belief system.

From Gates of Vienna

Larwyn suggests Kuffarphobia but Myrtus points out that we use the plural of kuffar to make a more easily pronounced word:

Kuffarphobia doesn’t flow as well as kafirophobia, which means the same thing. Kuffar is plural for kafir.

So hatred of infidels (CAIR? Helllooo??) now has a nice tidy term: kafirophobia. Try it on them the next time you object to some jihadist blowing people up and they try to hang an Islamophobe sign on you.

Maybe we can even get kafirophobia listed in the DSM-IV or the ICD as the mental illness it obviously is. Given the many symptoms they exhibit — paranoia, hypersensitivity, feelings of narcissistic superiority, and the desire to kill those who disagree with them — kafirophobes definitely qualify for their own separate diagnostic disorder. Maybe if the world hadn’t put on its Orwellian glasses just in time for the rise of the jihadists, exhibitions of such behavior would’ve had them in the revised edition of the DSM-IV by now.

Meanwhile, Larwyn notes a new call to kill Hirsi Ali. This one emanates not from the Netherlands or the Middle East, but from good, old prosaic Pittsburgh.

Here is an editorial from Sunday’s Pittsburgh Tribune Review, by Robin Acton:

…A community debate over religious freedom surfaced in Western Pennsylvania last week when Dutch feminist author Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali refugee who has lived under the threat of death for denouncing her Muslim upbringing, made an appearance at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

– – – – – – – – – –

Islamic leaders tried to block the lecture, which was sponsored through an endowment from the Frank J. and Sylvia T. Pasquerilla Lecture Series. They argued that Hirsi Ali’s attacks against the Muslim faith in her book, “Infidel,” and movie, “Submission,” are “poisonous and unjustified” and create dissension in their community.

Although university officials listened to Islamic leaders’ concerns, the lecture planned last year took place Tuesday evening under tight security, with no incidents.

Imam Fouad ElBayly, president of the Johnstown Islamic Center, was among those who objected to Hirsi Ali’s appearance.

“She has been identified as one who has defamed the faith. If you come into the faith, you must abide by the laws, and when you decide to defame it deliberately, the sentence is death,” said ElBayly, who came to the U.S. from Egypt in 1976. [my emphasis. See, another sign of kafirophobia]

Holger, the Guardian of the West

March 28, 2007 Leave a comment

Baron at Gates of Vienna has a great post about the real and mythical Holger Danske.  He was a Dane that fought with his enemies, Charles "the Hammer" Martel to defeat the Muslims coming in from al-Andalus (Spain).  The Mythical part about him is that he is Kronborg Castle sleeping, only to be awakened when Denmark needs him to protect them.   As told by Hans Christian Andersen:

Holgerdanske_2 But the fairest sight of all is the old castle of Kronborg, and under it sits Holger Danske in the deep, dark cellar which no one enters; he is clad in iron and steel and rests his head on his stalwart arm; his long beard hangs down upon the marble table where it has become stuck fast; he sleeps and dreams, but in his dreams he sees everything that comes to pass in Denmark. Every Christmas Eve an angel of God comes to tell him that all he has dreamed is true, and that he may go to back to sleep again, for Denmark is not yet in any danger! but if it should ever come, then old Holger Danske will rouse himself, and the table will break apart as he pulls out his beard! Then he will come forth, and strike a blow that shall be heard throughout all the countries of the world.

Baron thinks of Holger as a Guardian of Western Civilization, but not all of his readers agrees:

But not everyone agrees with me. A Danish reader recently sent me an email, part of which is excerpted below:

Dear Baron,

I apologize for not having replied to your latest email. I have some doubts about the use of nationalist imagery such as “Holger Danske,” I believe it causes great damage to the “cause,” which is making counterjihad a mainstream issue. I believe the approach of e.g. Robert Spencer and Lars Hedegaard is far more constructive and likely to gain results.

I wrote him back:

I understand your reservations, and I respect them

Libertytiananmen The funny thing is, I don’t find Holger Danske to be a nationalist symbol (though, obviously, the Danes consider him to be one). To me, he is the spirit of the West, a spirit which is awakening in its hour of need, and anyone who cherishes the values of liberty and self-determination can claim Holger as their own.

He’s like the Statue of Liberty. Do you remember the demonstrators in Tinananmen Square in 1989, who built a replica of the Statue of Liberty? They didn’t consider it to be a nationalist symbol of the USA, but used it as an icon representing their struggle for freedom.

And so it is with Holger, who put aside his differences with Charles the Hammer to journey southwards and fight alongside his former enemy against the Saracens in 732.

Holger Danske is a worthy symbol for all of us, and I am happy to have learned about him.

But I don’t blame you for being nervous about him — the recent history of nationalism in Europe has not been pleasant.

I agree with Baron on this one.  The symbolism of a great man resting until that one day the Western Civilized World needs him.  Well, the WEst needs him at this time.  We are at war with those same Islamists that he fought with back in 732.  They are tring to bring us back to the 7th century and we need to have Holger wake up out of his slumber nad protect that whcih we hold dear, liberty and freedom.

Read Baron’s whole post it is very good.

Vietnam Revisited

February 16, 2007 Leave a comment

It looks like the Democrats in the House are going to go the way of the Democrats during Vietnam.  What is wrong with these people.  Do they realize what this does to the enemy, the Islamists that want to destroy Western Civilization.  It jsut emboldens our enemy to stay and fight. This is a travesty  and just brings more and more ammunition for the defeat of the Party of Cut and Run in 2008.  How can they say they support the troops when they cut them off at the knees every chance they get.  Thanks to all of the conservatives that stuck it to the Republican party in the last election, we have these clowns thinking they have a mandate to cause our defeat in Iraq.  What has happened to our country???  Why are we the "paper tiger" that Osama bin Laden has called the US???  I’ll tell you, the MSM has sided with our enemies and have not reported on the good that is happeneing in Iraq.  It is all doom and gloom, just like the AlGorebots runnig around scaring everyone about Global Warming.  Has the US gone pver the deep end and enbd up like Eurabia???  Are we going to be facing Mecca 5 times a day, like Eurabia is in 50 years?  Or are we gonna finish the job and win the War on Terror???  hopefully i the next elections we will get some grown up in congres that will realize that we are at war with a ideology musch worse than Nazism ever was.

We are doing Vietnam all over again.  We won all the battles except the minds of the American people.  And who is to blame for this you ask????   The MSM.  Just like today, every day the American public was shown body counts and only the bad parts of the war in Vietnam.  Sounds familiar doesn’t it???? Yes, just look at ABC, CBS, NBC, New York SLimes, LA Times, and most other newspapers, what do you find????  Only the bad things that are going on in Iraq.  they even have fake people at the AP reporting on things that never occured.  How can we trust anything that the MSM is saying.  Fake, but true will not cut it.

I am sorry about this long rant on Funny Friday, but this is just pissing me off.  These Representatives are the just cowards that couldn’t even have a bill that would truely do what they want.  Why not just vote on a bill to cut off all money to the troops.  Instead they are going to pass a meaningless bill that just shows them the cowards they are.  They know if they pass a bill to cut the funding, they will have on chance in 2008, but they have to placate to the Nutroots and Far Left to get their votes in 2008.  And the total hypocracy inthis vote is astounding.  Wasn’t the Democrats talking about how we need more troops just last year

Enough with the rant, go and read this tripe from Al-Rueters about the Defeatocrats Bill
